The term 'Company' will mean My Showplates who's offices are based at Trafalgar House, Nelson Avenue, St Helier JE4 2PD. The term Product shall mean any item or service supplied by the Company

The term Show Plate will mean any plate supplied by the Company whether of show or legal design

Show Plates is product supplied that does not conform to UK legal requirements for product that is to be used on the public highway. Number Plates are deemed to be plates that are designed to legal standards. It is advisable to check either with us or our FAQ page before confirming your order if you are at all uncertain. The FAQ page can be found within the red links towards the bottom of each page. All product is made using the latest and best available quality materials that conform to BS Standards

It is not legal to display on a road-going vehicle any product that does not conform to UK legislation and it is understood that such product is supplied for show purposes only.

Our services in the supply of product begin immediately upon receipt of your order regardless of the time or date on which it was received. Receipt of the order is immediate and our production system is automated. All product save fixing kits and frames are bespoke to the customer and are of a personalised nature and accordingly we are not able to accept cancellation of orders. The usual 'cooling off' period allowed under the Sale of Goods Act will not apply therefore and this is catered for under section 13(c) of the ammended Sale of Goods Act (Distance Selling Regulations)2000. Nothing in this statement or the whole of our terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer and any goods that are not delivered or where quality is established as an issue will be replaced or refunded in full .

Whilst we are receptive to requests for changes to your design or shipping method we can only accomodate requests that are received before the order is made. Orders are made without delay so you should not rely upon the fact that because an email was sent making a request, that such requests will be actioned. Our terms will remain in place and any such changes, where time has permitted, will be actioned on a goodwill rather than contracual basis.

It is understood that there may be variations in the screen portrayal of your product and that which is received due to differences in screen resolutions between computer screens and actual product supplied and that the designer screen on the website is for guidance purposes only. The product received however will be 'materially' as seen on screen. Product is dispatched by Royal Mail first class recorded service and delivery time is variable for this service but should be no more than 3 days. Special Delivery items are delivered on the next working day when ordered before 15:00. There is a protection mechanism in place for items lost or delayed in the mail system which runs in line with the protection offered by Royal Mail in as much as any item that remains undelivered after a period of 15 working days will be replaced or refunded. Where Royal Mail have left a card because nobody was available to take delivery and the customer fails to re-arrange collection or delivery, the package will be returned to the Company at which time the Company reserves the right to charge for re-delivery at a rate equal to the face-value postage cost.
