The term ‘show plates’ shall mean any design of plate manufactured specifically on behalf of you, the customer, which has been designed using the MyShowplates.com plate builder pages and ordered either online or offline. The term ‘company’ shall mean MyShowplates.com. Show plates are designed for show purposes only and are not to be used on the public highway. There are rules governing the spacing of letters and numbers on a plate and what badges, graphics and slogans can or can’t be used. To this end MyShowplates.com will only supply show plates to the specific design of the customer and not legal road-going registration plates whether such showplates that are ordered would be deemed legal for road use or not in their own right. Our services in the supply of showplates begin upon receipt of your order and because the service provides for a product that is made specifically for an individual customer and is unique, we are unable to accept requests for cancellations or refunds save where the company has failed in its duty in respect of quality and supply. Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything within this statement of terms and conditions. It is understood that the graphic images and colours portrayed on the plate builder are displayed specifically according to the resolution of your own computer screen. Accordingly you should bear in mind that some colours and graphic sizes may vary dependant on the shape and size of the plate ordered. Consequently there may be certain shade differences between the actual screen design and the plates themselves. If you have any questions or are uncertain as to the meaning of any aspect of these terms and conditions you must contact us prior to placing your order as all orders are received and acted upon by us on the understanding that our terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted by you. Click here to email us any questions you may have. Plates and signs are sent by Recorded First Class Royal Mail and should arrive 2 to 3 working days after they are sent. Orders for Pressed Metal plates take a little longer as they are all hand-made. In all cases My Showplates obtain ‘proof of posting’ from the Royal Mail. Packages not delivered by Royal Mail will not be considered as ‘lost in post’ for a period of 15 working days at which time a replacement set will be sent or a refund given.

Showplates FAQ

Q	*Can I send you my own image(s) for you to incorporate on a custom plate?*
A	Yes. Click here to email us your images for inclusion on a plate and we will email you a mock-up of your design for consideration. Note: images must be in jpg/jpeg, gif, png or psg file format.

Q	*Once I have placed my order when can I expect delivery?*
A	Delivery times can vary but you should expect delivery of your order within 4 - 5 working days. All packages are sent from Jersey by Recorded Firsy Class Royal Mail

Q	*What design of plates can I have?*
A	Our Plate Designer has many options for you to incorporate badges, borders and backgrounds to suit yourself but if you require something special that you can’t see here let us know and we’ll send you a design mock-up for your consideration.

Q	*Can I use show plates on my road-going car?*
A	No. Our plates are designed for show purposes only.
