PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN TEXT OR BORDERS AND SELECTED BLUE, DARK BLUE, OR PINK THEN THESE COLOURS WILL APPEAR MUCH DARKER ON THE REAR/YELLOW PLATE DUE TO THE REFLECTIVE QUALITIES OF THE PRODUCT. BLUES WILL INDEED APPEAR ALMOST BLACK. These terms are set out between you, The Customer, and ourselves, The Company who trade as My Showplates and who's contact details can be found in the Contact section of the web site. The term ‘show plates’ shall mean any design of plate manufactured specifically on behalf of you, the customer, which has been designed using the MyShowplates.com plate builder pages, whether designed for road use or show purposes, and ordered either online or offline. All product is made from high quality reflective materials that conform to British Standards. Please bear in mind that the design entered by you will be duplicated in our production system so please be sure that you have designed the order the way that you want it, bearing in mind that you need to enter just one space between the first and last parts of the registration number for the design to conform to text layout rules for plates that will be used on the highway. We will of course produce your plates in any format if they are to be used for show purposes. We do not interfere with any online design and any spelling mistakes or incorrect details entered will be the responsibility of the purchaser. No order can be amended once purchased as the plates are automatically printed. Our services in the supply of number plates or show plates begin upon receipt of your order and because the service provides for a product that is made specifically for an individual customer and is unique, we are unable to accept requests for cancellations or refunds save where the company has failed in its duty in respect of quality and supply. It is understood that the graphic images and colours portrayed on the plate builder are displayed specifically according to the resolution of your own computer screen. Some screens will show a vibrant colour whereas others may not and accordingly we cannot guarantee that the colour match will be identical to your screen. However, you can be confident in any respect that the basic colours and design elements will materially match what you have designed. If you have any questions or are uncertain as to the meaning of any aspect of these terms and conditions you must contact us prior to placing your order as all orders are received and acted upon by us on the understanding that our terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted by you. Plates and signs are sent by Recorded First Class Royal Mail and should arrive 2 to 3 working days after they are sent. Orders for Pressed Metal plates take a little longer as they are all hand-made. In all cases My Showplates obtain ‘proof of posting’ from the Royal Mail and we will be able to help with tracing any lost or delayed parcels. We fully accept that the remedy in respect of lost or delayed parcels will be The Company's responsibility after a reasonable period has been allowed. Royal Mail, for instance, do not consider a parcel as 'lost' for a period of 15 days. Special Delivery items are sent by UK Special Delivery Next Day service. Therefore you should expect your Special Delivery order to arrive on the next working day after ordering when the order has been placed by 3PM. Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything within this statement of terms and conditions. Some images on this site may be copyright. Showplates FAQ

Q	*Will BS details appear on the plate?*
A	The BS Details are shown on the plates as a default setting. This shows that the plates are made using the latest British Standard materials and shows the postcode of the company making the plates. The BS details can be removed or added by using the 'show bs' function in the design control interface

Q	*Can I use my own images on the plates you supply?*
A	Yes - When designing your plates you can select the 'sending own...' option from the left/right badges section as well as the backgrounds section. You simply need to attach them to an email to us once the order has been placed.

Q	-What designs can I use to design a plate the same as legal plates?
A	We are happy to make plates in any design that you choose but a legal plate is designed using only 1 space between blocks i.e. AA56 AAA or A56 AAA - also you are only permitted to use Standard or 3D font types - A border is permitted in any colour or thickness and a area identifier badge such as GB EURO, Wales, Scotland, Ireland etc is also allowed. No background image is permitted on legal plates. The BS details should also be present in the right hand corner of the plate and if it has been removed you can reinstate it at the bottom of the design control interface (last entry) - Slogans at the bottom of the plate are not permitted for legally designed plates. Please ensure that your order is how you want it as our production process is directly linked to the web server files and manufacuring is often instantaneous
Q	*How long do my plates take to arrive?*
A	Royal Mail parcel deliveries are variable in time taken but should be no more than 3 working days. Special Delivery is available at the checkout and this is a 'next day' service when ordered by 15:00 (no Sunday delivery)
