My Show Plates design and arrange the supply of high-quality number plates and signs using the very latest laser printing techniques that ensure a great finished product. As a well established company we know the importance of good customer care and by continually improving our range we strive to give our customers what they want first time - every time.

When you use our plate designer you will be able to create your own special look using the many images and fonts currently available but remember, if you can’t see what you want, tell us. We do not charge for general design work outside what is offered on the site and you’ll be amazed at what can be created!

Terms & Conditions of Sale
The term 'Company' will mean My Showplates who's offices are based at Trafalgar House, Nelson Avenue, St Helier JE4 2PD. The term Product shall mean any item or service supplied by the Company The term Show Plate will mean any plate supplied by the Company whether of show or legal design Show Plates is product supplied that does not conform to UK legal requirements for product that is to be used on the public highway. Number Plates are deemed to be plates that are designed to legal standards. It is advisable to check either with us or our FAQ page before confirming your order if you are at all uncertain. The FAQ page can be found within the red links towards the bottom of each page. All product is made using the latest and best available quality materials that conform to BS Standards It is not legal to display on a road-going vehicle any product that does not conform to UK legislation and it is understood that such product is supplied for show purposes only. Our services in the supply of product begin immediately upon receipt of your order regardless of the time or date on which it was received. Receipt of the order is immediate and our production system is automated. All product save fixing kits and frames are bespoke to the customer and are of a personalised nature and accordingly we are not able to accept cancellation of orders. The usual 'cooling off' period allowed under the Sale of Goods Act will not apply therefore and this is catered for under section 13(c) of the ammended Sale of Goods Act (Distance Selling Regulations)2000. Nothing in this statement or the whole of our terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer and any goods that are not delivered or where quality is established as an issue will be replaced or refunded in full . Whilst we are receptive to requests for changes to your design or shipping method we can only accomodate requests that are received before the order is made. Orders are made without delay so you should not rely upon the fact that because an email was sent making a request, that such requests will be actioned. Our terms will remain in place and any such changes, where time has permitted, will be actioned on a goodwill rather than contracual basis. It is understood that there may be variations in the screen portrayal of your product and that which is received due to differences in screen resolutions between computer screens and actual product supplied and that the designer screen on the website is for guidance purposes only. The product received however will be 'materially' as seen on screen. Product is dispatched by Royal Mail first class recorded service and delivery time is variable for this service but should be no more than 3 days. Special Delivery items are delivered on the next working day when ordered before 15:00. There is a protection mechanism in place for items lost or delayed in the mail system which runs in line with the protection offered by Royal Mail in as much as any item that remains undelivered after a period of 15 working days will be replaced or refunded. Where Royal Mail have left a card because nobody was available to take delivery and the customer fails to re-arrange collection or delivery, the package will be returned to the Company at which time the Company reserves the right to charge for re-delivery at a rate equal to the face-value postage cost. Showplates FAQ

Q	*Will BS details appear on the plate?*
A	The BS Details are shown on the plates as a default setting. This shows that the plates are made using the latest British Standard materials and shows the postcode of the company making the plates. The BS details can be removed or added by using the 'show bs' function in the design control interface

Q	*Can I use my own images on the plates you supply?*
A	Yes - When designing your plates you can select the 'sending own...' option from the left/right badges section as well as the backgrounds section. You simply need to attach them to an email to us once the order has been placed. Alternatively you can email them before placing an order and we'll be happy to make a template for you to review first.

Q	-What designs can I use to design a plate the same as legal plates?
A	We are happy to make plates in any design that you choose but a legal plate is designed using only 1 space between blocks i.e. AA56 AAA or A56 AAA - also you are only permitted to use Standard or 3D font types - A border is permitted in any colour or thickness and a area identifier badge such as GB EURO, Wales, Scotland, Ireland etc is also allowed. No background image is permitted on legal plates. The BS details should also be present in the right hand corner of the plate and if it has been removed you can reinstate it at the bottom of the design control interface (last entry) - Slogans at the bottom of the plate are not permitted for legally designed plates. Please ensure that your order is how you want it as our production process is directly linked to the web server files and manufacuring is often instantaneous
Q	*How long do my plates take to arrive?*
A	Royal Mail parcel deliveries are variable in time taken but should be no more than 3 working days. Special Delivery is available at the checkout and this is a 'next working day' service when ordered by 15:00
