The term ‘show plates’ shall mean any design of plate manufactured specifically on behalf of you, the customer, which has been designed using the MyShowplates.com plate builder pages and ordered either online or offline.

The term ‘company’ shall mean MyShowplates.com.

Showplates are designed for show purposes only and are not to be used on the public highway.

There are rules governing the spacing of letters and numbers on a plate and what badges, graphics and slogans can or can’t be used. To this end MyShowplates.com will only supply show plates to the specific design of the customer and not legal road-going registration plates whether such showplates that are ordered would be deemed legal for road use or not in their own right.

Our services in the supply of showplates begin upon receipt of your order and because the service provides for a product that is made specifically for an individual customer and is unique, we are unable to accept requests for cancellations or refunds save where the company has failed in its duty in respect of quality and supply.

Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything within this statement of terms and conditions.

It is understood that the graphic images and colours portrayed on the plate builder are displayed specifically according to the resolution of your own computer screen. Accordingly you should bear in mind that some colours and graphic sizes may vary dependant on the shape and size of the plate ordered. In any event all blue colours will appear darker on a yellow plate and may appear to be almost black.

Plates and signs are sent by first class Royal Mail and should arrive the day after they are sent. In all cases My Showplates obtain ‘proof of posting’ from the Royal Mail. Packages not delivered by Royal Mail will not be considered as ‘lost in post’ for a period of 10 days at which time an investigation will be launched. You are strongly advised to choose ‘postal insurance’ at the checkout which ensures you, the customer, two main elements. The first element is that your package will be sent by special delivery and secondly you are assured of a replacement order at no cost should the initial order be lost or destroyed.
