Standard vs Oversized Plates

Most vehicles take a standard UK plate size, and for the majority of everyday cars this is exactly what you will need. However, show plates are frequently chosen slightly larger than standard where the vehicle's bodywork allows it, purely for the stronger visual presence this creates. The important thing is that "oversized" does not mean arbitrary.
